Biografía

Héctor Madrid es profesor asociado de comportamiento organizacional en el Área de Personas de la Escuela de Negocios de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Su formación como psicólogo organizacional la realizó en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, mientras que su doctorado –PhD in Work and Organizational Psychology– lo obtuvo en la Universidad de Sheffield, Reino Unido.

Su línea investigación es acerca de los antecedentes y consecuencias de las emociones, la creatividad y la innovación en contextos de trabajo. En términos docentes, se especializa en el comportamiento organizacional, la psicología de las emociones en las organizaciones, el liderazgo de equipos innovadores, y las metodologías cuantitativas de investigación.

Héctor Madrid is an associate professor of organizational behavior in the People Management Group at the University Adolfo Ibañez’s Business School. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and his PhD in Work and Organizational Psychology at The University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom.

His research is about the drivers and consequences of emotions, creativity, and innovation in the workplace. Regarding teaching, he lectures on organizational behavior, the psychology of emotions in organizations, and the leadership of innovative teams, together with quantitative research methods.
